Tweed Magazine

Tweed Magazine was founded by angsty teenagers in 1997. It served as a discussion forum for music, politics, and the DIY spirit.

Tweed interviewed its favorite musicians and artists on both their current projects and current politics. Highlights included discussions with Mates of State, Metric, Bella Lea, Grandaddy, and Robb Nansel of Saddle Creek Records. From cut-and-paste, to desktop publishing, to the web; it was an edifying journey that made the creation of Stewdio possible. Tweed officially disbanded in 2007, a decade after its inception.
